Collaborative Research (CRISP) Grant

Neil Maher (PI) received this three-year $650,000 grant to establish the Community Data Equity AI Lab (Community-DEAL), which will collaborate with the Newark Water Coalition to collect and analyze drinking water data while making it publicly accessible to the residents of Newark, New Jersey.

Neil Maher was recently selected as a 2023-2024 (Fall Semester) Shelby Cullom Davis Center Fellow at Princeton University, where he will research and begin writing a book on the environmental justice history of Newark, New Jersey.
