DIGITAL HUMANITIES

WEBSITE

Environmental Justice Mapping Project

Developed this website for undergraduate and graduate research seminars on environmental inequality in the post-World War II United States.  For this class, students conduct their own primary historical research on a site of their choosing where environmental injustice took place. They then upload their research and final project to this searchable digital archive and mapping website, which is fully accessible to the general public.

VIDEO GAME

Up From the Dust

Served as the historical advisor for this online educational video game on the Great Depression era for middle and high school students. The digital role-playing game, which was funded by the U.S. Department of Education and developed by WNET (New York’s Public Broadcasting Station), is part of the award-winning Mission-US online gaming series.
